No prior programming or game development experience is required! This course is designed for complete beginners. We start from the very basics of Unity and C# programming, gradually building up your skills. All you need is basic computer literacy, passion for games, and enthusiasm to learn.
You'll need a computer (Windows, Mac, or Linux) with at least 8GB RAM and a decent graphics card. We'll guide you through installing Unity Hub, Unity Editor, and Visual Studio Code during the first session. All software we use is free for students and personal projects.
The course includes 1.5 hours of live instruction twice per week. We recommend dedicating an additional 4-6 hours per week for practice, working on assignments, and building your game projects. The more you practice, the better your games will become!
Yes! Upon successfully completing the course and all assignments, you'll receive a certificate of completion from TechyCamp that you can add to your portfolio, resume, or LinkedIn profile to showcase your game development skills.
All live sessions are recorded and made available to enrolled students. You can watch the recordings at your own pace. However, we highly recommend attending live sessions for the best learning experience, real-time debugging help, and to ask questions directly.
